Bophut

Things to do - general

The luxury villas in Bophut are one of the best in the island. You can choose between renting a private villa on the beachfront or you can opt to stay on the hilltops where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean, the samui island, and the nearby islands around.

Bophut beach is situated within the Bophut beach village, located in Ko Samui’s northern coast. It is even regarded as an administrative and postal district in Ko Samui, with Chaweng included within it too. Some 2 kilometers of sandy white shoreline is encompassed by the beach itself, with coconut trees fringing the sand. Whether for playing, relaxing or swimming, Bophut beach is a popular spot because of its calm waters, which tend to be murky, particularly in December. One of the most popular things to do in Bophut is to visit the Friday Walking Street Market, where vendors and stalls lined up in the street selling a large array of goods and different types of food. There are also live performances and music heard along the street.
